However, the real challenge emerged after the Republic Day holiday ended. Collections dropped sharply during the weekdays. Tuesday saw earnings of around Rs. 20 crore, followed by approximately Rs. 13 crore on Wednesday.
These figures indicate that while the opening weekend pulled crowds, regular weekday footfalls weakened. The trend suggests limited repeat value during working days. This has raised concerns about the film’s long term box office potential.
Around the same time, Suniel Shetty’s remark about watching his son Ahaan Shetty’s film Border 2 only after it crosses Rs. 500 crore became troll material online. Many joked that if Border 2 needs to hit 500 crores, Suneil Shetty may never watch it.
At the current pace, reaching such high milestones appears difficult. The film may struggle to maintain the consistency required for record breaking totals. Sustained audience interest will be crucial in the coming weeks.
