Close behind is Kollywood (Tamil cinema), which has raked in 1,966 crores. The industry owes its strong showing to successful films like Good Bad Ugly, Dragon, Madha Gaja Raja, and Tourist Family.
Tollywood (Telugu cinema) stands at 1,811 crores, powered by releases like Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, Daaku Maharaaj, Thandel, Hit 3, Mad Square, and Court.
Mollywood (Malayalam cinema) has earned 879 crores, led by films such as Thudarum and the highly anticipated L2: Empuraan.
