Dawood Offered Kapoor Shopping in Dubai

Rishi Kapoor who played Dawood role in D-Day has written about his relation with the Dawood Ibrahim in his autobiography. He said that he met Dawood twice and that they had a chit chat with chai.

Rishi stated his opinion in his autobiography titled Khullam Kulla, that it wasn’t wrong that he went to meet Dawood at that time because Dawood wasn’t a wanted fugitive when he was invited to Dawood’s place. Rishi also mentioned his experience of how he was taken to the don’s place.

The first meet happened in 1988 for which Rishi was invited by the Don and a year after they accidentally met in Dubai when he was there for shopping. Rishi Kapoor described how Dawood came out into such a public place i.e with bouncers around him and Dawood even happened to ask the actor to do the shopping and leave the bill on him.

Looking at the way Rishi described Dawood, it seems like Rishi was comfortable in meeting Dawood and had a good relation with him.
