Taapsee to Get into The Shoes of Soundarya

Taapsee bagged another big project in Bollywood playing one of the two heroines in young star hero Varun Dhawan’s upcoming comedy entertainer ‘Judwaa 2’, the remake of 1997 super hit Salman Khan starrer ‘Judwaa’. Jacqueline Fernandez is roped in for playing the other heroine in the film

Salman Khan’s ‘Judwaa’ was the remake of Nagarjuna’s blockbuster movie ‘Hello Brother’ in which he played dual roles as identical brothers. While Soundarya and Ramya Krishna romanced Nagarjuna in the original, Telugu girl Rambha and Karishma Kapoor were Salman’s heroines for the Hindi remake.

Now, Taapsee is going to play the role which was originally played by Soundarya in Telugu and Rambha in the Hindi remake. Both the Telugu and the Hindi versions of this story had been declared super successful mass entertainers back then. After a lot of praises for the role in ‘Pink’ will Taapsee shine as a commercial and glamourous actress in ‘Judwaa 2’ in Bollywood?
