The film was carrying good buzz due to the interesting concept of the film and reasonably successful music. But the real push came from outside factor, Cricket, as the Indian team crashed out of the ongoing World Cup. It is said to have got the film required push to get the numbers going. It is the biggest opener in the career of Kareena Kapoor where she is not paired with a top star.

The film itself is carrying mixed response but a big opening like this and decent weekend on cards should ensure the film to reach safety predicts the trade.
