A biopic on Legendary Queen Rani Lakshmi Bai is currently getting made in Bollywood by none other than director Krish. Kangana Ranaut plays the titular role in the film which is titled as Manikarnika.

The biopic has been marred by numerous controversies right from the start. It is also helping in keeping the buzz alive on the movie. Recently, all the attention has been shifted to another epic historical Padmavati. It has become the talk of the town. Maybe that could be attributed as the reason for too many tidbits flowing from Manikarnika camp.
