Manoj Bajpayee reacted to Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan winning the National Award. The official felicitation ceremony of the National Film Awards is scheduled for 23 September 2024. The highlight remains SRK for Jawan, who shared the Best Actor (Male) award with Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail.
Fans are thrilled that SRK’s remarkable career has finally received recognition at the National Film Awards. However, some feel it may overshadow the achievements of others like Vikrant Massey and Rani Mukerji, who also received awards at the same time.
A debate has also emerged on social media, with many claiming that Manoj Bajpayee was unfairly overlooked. They believe his performance in Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai, an OTT release, was deserving of the award given to SRK.
When asked about this, Manoj dismissed such comparisons as ridiculous. He said his performance was sincere, but pitting two actors against each other over decisions beyond their control is not fair.
He further added that people should move on and respect the outcome while appreciating the truth of the moment. Manoj Bajpayee is currently gaining critical attention with his latest release, Jugnuma.
