The film will feature familiar characters from the Mirzapur series. Guddu Pandit played by Ali Fazal, Kaleen Bhaiya played by Pankaj Tripathi, and Munna Tripathi played by Divyenndu are all part of the cast. Abhishek Banerjee also appears in an important role.

After its theatrical run, Mirzapur The Film will stream on Prime Video. Reports suggest the digital release will happen eight weeks after the film hits theatres, giving audiences both viewing options.

The Mirzapur series has enjoyed massive popularity on OTT platforms. All three seasons were widely watched and praised for their intense storytelling and strong characters that kept viewers hooked till the end.

Season three ended with several unanswered questions and major cliffhangers. The film is expected to address these loose ends and push the story forward in a more cinematic format.

Still, the shift from OTT to theatres raises questions. While digital audiences embraced Mirzapur wholeheartedly, it remains uncertain whether theatre audiences will respond with the same enthusiasm to the franchise as a full length film.
