Om Puri Passed Away Due to Massive Heart Attack

Veteran Bollywood Actor, Om Puri passed away early today morning after suffering a massive heart attack. The actor was 66 and the news was revealed by his close friend and filmmaker, Ashok Pandit. The actor is a popular face on the mainstream Bollywood cinema as well as Pakistani, British and Hollywood films.

The actor is the recipient of Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India. The veteran actor is an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India as well as National School of Drama, He is also at the forefront of art films movement in the 70s.

He is regarded as one of the finest actors in Bollywood. Several film personalities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the passing away and are recalling his long career in theater and films. May his Soul Rest in Peace!
