Fans say you cannot fully relate to life in India without living it daily. They mention air pollution, broken roads, and the direct impact of government decisions. Supporting the country from abroad, they say, is easier than living here and still standing by it.
Some fans go further and claim loyalty for many actors lies with fame, not the country. They believe actors align with whichever government benefits their careers, using nationalism as a tool to stay relevant.
They even say Bollywood stars have turned into flatterers rather than voices of truth. While fans accept that actors may live abroad for family safety, they insist such actors should avoid speaking as if they fully represent people’s lived realities.
