Reports from Mid-Day, Bollywood Hungama, India Today, and others state that the event will take place on March 27, 2026. The date coincides with Ram Navami and the venue is Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India, adding cultural and symbolic weight.
This large-scale gathering will unveil the first official character looks from Ramayana. It will also serve as the film’s first public presentation since its announcement, offering audiences an early look at the vision and scale planned by the makers.
The characters set to be introduced include Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana. Sunny Deol will be revealed as Lord Hanuman, while Sai Pallavi will be introduced as Sita, along with other key figures from the epic.
According to reports, invitations have already gone out to several Bollywood celebrities. Friends and family of the lead cast are expected, along with senior political figures from both state and central government.
