Kaho Na Pyaar Hai was released on the 10th of January on the birthday of Hrithik Roshan. But it could not impact the awesome run of YJHD at all. The Ranbir starrer had a total of 44.94 thousand tickets sold in 24 hours, whereas Kaho Na Pyaar Hai had sales of only 7.35 thousand.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani also made 13.04 crores in 8 days. It is going to be the Ninth day of the movie’s release but the ticket sales are 511% higher than that of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.
One reason behind this might be the Friday release of the movie and there is a possibility that the KPH gets better views in the coming days.
But what is more probable is that the youngster audiences are relating to Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani more and Kaho Na Pyaar Hai might also feel a bit outdated to the college-going people now.
Also Ranbir Kapoor is much more trending nowadays, with his movies always making it to the headlines. And it has been quite long since Hrithik gave a big hit too.
