Yash Raj Films Hunt for Deadliest Villain for Part 3

Rani Mukerji is back as Shivani Shivaji Roy! Mardaani 3 is finally happening and filming will begin in June 2025.

But who will be the villain this time? The franchise is known for its villains and the makers are looking for someone equally scary.

The film is in pre-production with Abhiraj Minawala directing and Aditya Chopra producing under Yash Raj Films.

Mumbai and Delhi have been locked as primary locations, more north indian locations to be finalized soon.

Auditions are in full swing for the villain. Will they go for an established face or a fresh new talent?

Let’s face it Mardaani movies are as much about their villains as they are about Rani’s powerhouse performance.

Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vishal Jethwa were amazing in the first two parts.Can Mardaani 3 top that?

The team is looking for someone menacing, intense and completely unpredictable. That’s a high bar to meet.

The tagline hints at a darker and deadlier story. But will it push boundaries like the earlier two?

The franchise has tackled serious issues earlier will this one address a new social evil?

And with action scenes expected to be more intense, can Rani Mukerji outdo herself in Mardaani 2?

With a 2026 release planned, there’s still a long way to go. But one thing is for sure if they find the right villain. Mardaani 3 could be the best in the series.
