There were multiple speculations about Ranveer Singh stepping into the shoes of Shaktimaan, earlier played by Mukesh Khanna. However, the actor’s team has recently issued a statement denying the same.
Here’s what it said, “The news about Ranveer Singh acquiring rights to develop a new superhero (Shaktimaan) project as the producer holds no truth. He is currently busy shooting for Aditya Dhar’s next, and then Don 3 is also on the cards for him.”
Ranveer is currently shooting for Aditya Dhar’s action thriller. He is also preparing for Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, which will go on floors next year.
The actor was last seen in Singham Again, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and more.
Considering that Ranveer Singh has emerged as an underrated actor over the years, he can be a good choice for Shaktimaan. But it seems like Mukesh Khanna is not in a hurry to make the film so soon.
Notably, Shaktimaan was announced around four years ago and audiences have been eagerly waiting for more updates. While people were excited at the time, the announcement is slowly turning out to be a trolling topic for everyone as nothing has been finalized so far.
Although Sony Pictures also joined in to give the film a grand look, the production company might walk off from the project if Mukesh Khanna keeps them waiting for a long time.
Mukesh Khanna should now take the suggestions of the advice seriously and do something before people lose interest in his film.
