Rekha’s Viral Kiss Video: Still Not Forgotten Big B?

At the recent Ikkis screening, Rekha was seen walking in, gently caressing Agastya Nanda’s face on the poster and kissing it. The moment was caught on camera and quickly turned into a major talking point across social media platforms.

The video spread rapidly online and once again revived long standing rumours linked to Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan. Many users immediately connected the gesture to their past, bringing back discussions that have followed them for decades.

Agastya Nanda, who is making his Bollywood debut with Ikkis, is Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson. He is the son of his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, which added more attention to Rekha’s gesture at the event.

As clips circulated widely, reactions remained divided. Some fans described the moment as warm and full of love and blessings, while others linked it back to Rekha’s past with Amitabh Bachchan.

A section of fans claimed that while the world has moved on, Rekha has not. They felt she was blessing Agastya as if he were her own grandson, reading the gesture as a sign of emotional attachment to Amitabh.

Others argued that such behaviour should not be normalised. They called it uncomfortable and felt Rekha should avoid actions that fuel speculation, while fans should stop turning every small gesture into an Amitabh Rekha moment.

Some also pointed out that if the roles were reversed, the behaviour would be labelled extremely toxic. They urged fans to stop glorifying such moments, especially after so many years of public discussion.

There were also voices calling Rekha’s actions embarrassing and repetitive. According to them, she often ends up in situations that invite controversy and revive the same narrative again and again.

On the other hand, many defended Rekha and said she has always been openly affectionate. They felt this was simply a warm gesture and saw no reason to drag Amitabh Bachchan into the conversation yet again.

This story has been discussed for decades, and it still refuses to fade away. Fans are now questioning where the line should be drawn by celebrities and audiences, or if it is finally time to let the noise settle.
