Param Sundari is a film that has been on the headlines since its release date is not confirmed yet. The upcoming romantic-comedy has witnessed multiple delays due to other films taking over specific Fridays.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Tushar Jalota, it features Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.
For now, it seems like the makers are trying to avoid competition and are aiming for solo release to pull more audiences, leading to better collections. The film was previously postponed from another date not to clash with Son of Sardaar 2, featuring Ajay Devgn.
The makers are now reportedly considering releasing the film on August 29, 2025, or September 5, 2025.
Notably, the wave of Saiyaara has also impacted the film’s release, and a source claimed the same, saying that Param Sundari has its voice and the makers don’t want it to be recognized as another love story.
Meanwhile, the insider also stated that the makers will shoot a promotional song before release since Sidharth is busy with his duties as a father.
Sidharth desperately needs a hit right now since his last release, Yodha, turned out to be a flop at the box office. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, two of his films were also released on OTT. Apart from that, his collaboration with Indra Kumar in Thank God also failed to leave a positive impression.
With Dinesh Vijan as the producer, who has helped to bring a lot of actors into the spotlight, it remains to be seen if Sidharth will deliver the expected results.
The promotional materials are not out yet, including the trailer. The comedy has to be up to the mark and Sidharth and Janhvi also need to enact the same perfectly on screen. So, let’s wait for more updates to understand the fate of the film at the box office.
