Salman Khan’s Sikandar is set to release soon, but there hasn’t been any promising promotional material to build hype around the film.
The little promotional content that has been released- official teasers, posters, and music videos, has been average at best.

Salman Khan is a megastar, and his name alone is enough to draw large crowds to theatres.
However, rather than creating excitement, the underwhelming promotions seem to dull the buzz around the movie.

In his early career, Salman had undeniable conviction in his craft- whether he was portraying emotional, funny, angry, or humble characters, he could deliver with ease.
Bhai even had a distinct signature dance style that many loved and recreated.

However, in the promo and music videos of Sikandar, he seems to lack that conviction.
His dialogue delivery feels stiff and flavorless, and the songs fail to make an impact. It’s as if he himself isn’t enjoying the process.
A great dance sequence isn’t about complicated choreography, it works best when the actor enjoys it.
In Dabangg or even Tubelight, Salman’s enthusiasm made the dance numbers memorable.
This energy is missing in Sikandar’s music videos, except for Zohra Jabeen, where he at least smiles a little.
Salman has been through a lot in recent years- death threats, health issues, and he’s nearing 60. His recent projects seem more like obligations rather than something he truly enjoys.
Rather than losing his spark, Salman should take a break, focus on his health, and return with a well-crafted film instead of appearing on Bigg Boss every season.
His fans would prefer quality over quantity, and a film made with passion over a string of mediocre releases.
