Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked ministers to prepare for the upcoming local body elections and strengthen coordination among TDP, Jana Sena and BJP.

After the Cabinet meeting, Chandrababu held a separate meeting with ministers and made it clear that they would be responsible for the performance of alliance candidates in their respective areas. He asked them to step up preparations and work closely with party leaders at the grassroots level.

The Chief Minister reportedly set November 15 as the target for completing the elections and called for a 100% winning record across local bodies.

Seat sharing and candidate selection will be key challenges for the three alliance partners, particularly in areas where more than one party has a strong presence. The distribution of important local posts could also require careful discussions.

Chandrababu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan have already discussed local poll strategy and seat sharing. The BJP is also looking to expand its presence. However, the final seat-sharing arrangements have not yet been formally announced.

Local elections often depend on candidate credibility, local issues and personal connections with voters. A coordinated campaign could help the alliance, while differences over seats will need to be resolved through discussions.

Chandrababu has put the responsibility on ministers to lead preparations in their respective areas. Jana Sena will look to strengthen its local presence, while the BJP will also seek opportunities to contest more seats.

The immediate focus is on early preparation, alliance coordination and candidate selection. How effectively the three parties work together could play an important role in their local election performance.
