Star Ignored Vanga’s Advice, Now Facing Disasters

Shahid Kapoor, a well-known Bollywood actor, enjoyed unprecedented success with Kabir Singh, a Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Kabir Singh proved to be an important part of Shahid’s career by giving it momentum. However, Vanga dissuaded him from doing remakes, telling him that he has high originality and exquisiteness in his acting style.

For his part, the actor went on to act in more remakes after Kabir Singh. His film Jersey, an adaptation of the Telugu film which goes with the same name and starred Nani.

Also, Deva The remake of the Malayalam movie Mumbai Police doesn’t seem to have impressed viewers and critics alike.

These movies bombed at the box office, and along with that, they affected the rightful and well-graced Shahid’s career upward path.

Had he followed Vanga’s advice, he would have probably gone ahead with more original roles to show the brilliance of his talent and creativity.

In the competitive world of Bollywood, originality often helps actors stand out. Shahid Kapoor’s journey shows the need to make calculated career choices: although remakes seem promising, they do not guarantee success.

For Shahid, his inclination to do remakes has cost him a lot; all that is left for fans and critics to wonder about considering what could have been had he taken a different turn.
