Sikandar in Big Trouble Already: From 48 M to 28 M

Salman Khan’s Sikandar was supposed to be his big comeback but the latest teaser has failed to keep the excitement going.

Instead of building up, it’s sparking trolling over Salman’s monotonous dialogue delivery, lazy screen presence and weak background music.

After the massive response to the first teaser, this drop is quite surprising.Sikandar Teaser 1 broke records with 48 million views in 24 hours, more than Pushpa 2 (39.3M) and Dunki (36.8M).

But Teaser 2 saw a big drop to 28 million views. Compared to Bollywood’s biggest teasers, this is a worrying sign.

Beyond numbers, the content of the teaser is facing backlash. Salman’s dialogue delivery is uninspired and the BGM is weak.

Fans are also calling the dialogues weak and generic, not massy. Rashmika Mandanna’s presence is also getting mixed reactions, some are calling it a bad casting choice.

A drop in views and negative feedback doesn’t mean end of the world but it’s a concern.

Unlike Jawan and Pathaan which gaining momentum with each promo, Sikandar is losing steam. The trailer now has to turn things around.

With Eid 2025 approaching, Sikandar still has time to build up the hype. But the makers need a powerful trailer, better marketing.

And strong advance bookings to guarantee a blockbuster opening. Otherwise this could be a big blow to Salman Khan’s comeback.
