Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ is not doing very well in theaters. Firstly it had to suffer the piracy leak and then it is going through some trolling on social media. But now it looks like even Netflix is making fun of Sikandar.
Netflix India posted a Salman Khan dialogue from the film Race 3, “Jis race se mujhe bahaar nikaalne ki baat kar rahe hain, wo nahi jante uss race ka Sikandar main hoon.” They put a caption saying ‘Iss race ka Sikandar is back.”
Everybody knows that Race 3 is one of the most trolled movies to come out from Bollywood. And even this dialogue has been trolled by netizens and now Netflix puts this dialogue to assumingly ‘celebrate’ Sikandar.
People have pointed out that this expresses sarcasm more than goodwill. Netflix India should not do such things because their content does not match the level of Netflix Korea or Netflix UK and this arrogance does not suit them.
The comparison with Netflix Korea is valid and also brings us to many conclusions. Netflix India has a long way to go before bringing out something extraordinary as Netflix Korea does every now and then.
