Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’ is facing a new hurdle now. Recently, the star posted his own pictures wearing a Jacob & Co watch and fans are not taking it in a good way.
This special watch is named Jacob & Co. Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Edition 2 and is created in collaboration with Ethos Watches as a celebration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Pran Pratishtha. The watch costs 34 lakhs in Indian currency.
A section of Salman’s fans are offended by this and think that this is a gesture to appease one political party. They are calling for a Boycott of the movie now and think Salman Khan is spineless because he is trying to gain the favour of a party only because of a film, while he has been admired for his political honesty previously.
This incident puts the future of the film at stake now and looks like Salman’s post has backfired. It will now be difficult to convince those fans that it was not a political move and he wore the watch just for its sake.
