Netflix has dropped the first look into the brand new docu-series chronicling the legacy of another iconic Bollywood family- The Roshans. The three-minute trailer of the mini-series is out now, just a day before Hrithik Roshan’s birthday, and gave the fans a lot to be frenzy about.
Beginning from Roshan Lal Nagrath’s music to Rakesh and Rajesh’s different career trajectories to Hrithik’s rise to stardom, the upcoming series is looking like a must-watch for Bollywood lovers. It’s not just about the personal story of the family but the intertwined history of Indian cinema as well.
The four-part mini-series will feature big stars from the industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Priyanka Chopra, and many many more iconic singers and filmmakers. All were seen in the trailer showering praise for the Roshan family and acknowledging their contribution to Indian films.
The series will go beyond the glamorous life of this family and might delve deeper into the dark phases of their lives as well. As seen in the trailer, the 2000 assassination attempt on Rakesh is also referenced.
The trailer has built up all the hype and it will be interesting to see if the director Shashi Ranjan will manage to live up to it. So be prepared to get engrossed into Roshan’s family on January 17 on Netflix.
