The Bollywood film industry has been struggling desperately when it comes to delivering successful commercial films that work at the box office.
There are several theories and derivatives that are drawn from the things that are going wrong with Bollywood and the majority of them point at the soft nature of Bollywood these days. There was the recent comment that Bollywood making films for Juhu and Bandra audience, and this pretty much some set up.

In this context, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has also opened up about what is going wrong with Bollywood and he too had a similar opinion.
Aamir opined that Bollywood is continuing to make soft films that are away from human emotions like revenge and vengeance, which are the core principles of commercial cinema.

Aamir Khan was of the implication that these niche films do not cater to the wider audience of Bollywood, and that is reflecting in the box office struggles.
Even if we come to Aamir Khan himself, he was the one who used to think out of the box and make peculiar films while Bollywood was in full flow with commercial films. The balance of these commercial films and occasional Aamir Khan film that comes with peculiar plot was keeping things going smoothly.

But now that Bollywood has started to experiment around too much and even the quality of Aamir Khan’s films themeves have gone down, even a reputed star like Aamir is struggling to deliver hits these days.
The secret is out in the open as the clear case is that Bollywood is running after niche films too much and the need to bring back human emotions in stories is evident. But Bollywood actually end up learning a lesson from this? Only time will tell.
