Tasting Blood, Young Star Blocking Festival dates

Tasting a blockbuster success after ages with Sanju, young star Ranbir Kapoor is doing something that only the current top stars are known to do, which is blocking festival dates. Ranbir’s upcoming three biggies would be festival releases.

First up would be Brahmastra that is going to take the Independence Day and Bakrid slot. Both come close on the heels of one another. The second one is Shamshera, a Yash Raj Films production. The period action-adventure epic is locked to have Eid 2020 date. Similarly, another one with Luv Ranjan is closed for Christmas 2020.

Even the other festivals like Good Friday, Diwali, and Holi, are also booked for Young stars. The back to back the success of films like Padmavat, Baaghi 2 and Sanju has boosted the trade’s confidence in the youngsters and hence the blocking. Will the new decade usher in new stars replace the Khans at the box office?
