Tiger Shroff, once hailed as Bollywood’s most bankable action star, is gearing up for another shot at reclaiming his box office dominance. After the underwhelming response to Baaghi 4, the actor has now signed a high-concept action film with producer Murad Khetani and Avane Srimannarayana director Sachin Ravi.
According to reports, Tiger had been actively seeking a fresh action format to reinvent his career. When Khetani and Ravi pitched him a film that pushes the boundaries of the genre, Tiger was immediately impressed and allotted dates, making the project a top priority. Shooting is expected to begin in October with an intensive 45-day schedule.
While the concept looks promising, fans remain cautious. Tiger’s recent outing with another Kannada director, A Harsha, in Baaghi 4 ended in disappointment despite his proven action skills. This has led many to question whether turning to Kannada filmmakers can revive his Bollywood fortunes.
Tiger’s journey in the industry has been turbulent. From the massive success of Baaghi 2 and War to post-pandemic failures like Heropanti 2, Ganapath, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, his once-unshakable popularity has declined. With audiences now demanding stronger stories alongside action, simply delivering high-octane stunts may not be enough.
The collaboration with Sachin Ravi, known for his layered storytelling and stylish visuals, could be a turning point. But whether this partnership brings back Tiger’s lost momentum or becomes another misstep will only be clear once the film hits theaters.
For now, fans are waiting to see if this gamble pays off — and if Tiger Shroff can stage the kgf-style comeback he needs.
