Title drags top actress to court!

Actress Priyanka Chopra is in news these days. Few days back, she received People’s Choice Award and written history that first South Asian tow in that award. Later she gets PadmaShri from Indian Government and recently she is been in the list of prestigious Oscar award presenters.

But she landed into legal trouble after Punjabi film Producer filed a complaint on the actress over using his film name for a film produced by her production house. The producer Talwinder Singh Rathor alleged that he invested Rs.5Crs in the movie for which he registered title as “IK Onkar” in the year 2013-14. He filed case on the actress after he heard that Priyanka is going to produce Punjabi movie with the same name under her production house M/s. Purple Pebbles Pictures.

The producer filed case to issue in civil court seeking to issue orders that shall refrain from using his film name. Priyanka started producing movies by turning producer with a web series recently.
