TV industry in shock with Chinnari Pellikuturu suicide

Pratyusha Benerjee who played the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu (Chinnari Pellikuturu in Telugu) has shocked everyone by her suicide. She was found hanging to her ceiling in her apartment in Mumbai.

Thanks to the immense popularity of the show Balika Vadhu, Pratyusha Benerjee was a known face across India. She was only 24 years old and was seen as an upcoming artist with immense potentiality. The reason for suicide is said to be depression caused due to the failure of love.

She was also seen in other popular shows such as Big Boss and Jhalak Dikhlaja. This is third noted personality from Television field that has succumbed to suicide. Entire TV industry has been in shock as soon as the news broke out. May her soul rest in peace.
