Just A Trailer But Deadpool 3 Is Record-breaking!

With the launch trailer for “Deadpool and Wolverine,” Deadpool is creating history in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With 365 million views in a single day, it shattered the record for the most-viewed movie trailer. The previous record-holder was the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, which in its first 24 hours in 2021 had 355.5 million views online.

Deadpool’s popularity was also aided by the record-breaking Super Bowl coverage, which attracted 123.7 million people and saw celebrity Taylor Swift cheering for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The R-rated Merc With a Mouth played by Ryan Reynolds will make his screen debut in Disney’s family-friendly Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release of “Deadpool and Wolverine” on July 26. Deadpool, who previously featured in two stand-alone Fox films, parodied Disney in the first teaser, which was gory and broke the fourth wall.

After being abducted by the Time Variance Authority, the multiverse supervisors last seen in “Loki,” Deadpool, going by the moniker “Marvel Jesus,” enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe and finds himself in the same universe as the Avengers.
