Universal Pictures has released the trailer of their upcoming horror movie Abigail which is going to hit the big screen in April. This horror thriller casts a child vampire scaring a bunch of adults. The trailer is quite suspenseful and packs some hope for an intriguing plot.
The logline of the movie gives away the idea of the plot in which a number of kidnappers abduct a young girl for a heavy ransom of $50 million. The young girl turns out to be a vampire and the rest has to figure out a way to kill the demon.
The cast of the show includes Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kevin Durand, Newton, late Angus Cloud, William Catlett, Giancarlo Esposito and Alisha Weir. The movie has been directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
The first minute of the trailer manages to create the perfect suspense for a horror thriller. Once the vampire is introduced, it appears more like any other monster horror. The film is going to hit the big screen on the 19th of April, 2024.
