10 days after marriage, actress decides divorce

Actress Ramya is a popular VJ and television anchor in Tamil Nadu and since many days, the reasons for her divorce are making rounds in media. To put a rest to the rumours, Ramya finally gave a clarity regarding her divorce rumours.

Ramya was married to a Chennai-based auditor Ajith Jayaraman in Febraury, 2014. Acordig to the rumours making rounds, her in-laws and husband weren’t happy for Ramya’s decision to act in Mani ratnam’s film ‘O Kadal Kanmani’ and her decision to pursue acting in films is the cause for the break up.

However, Ramya says her decision to separate from Ajith Jayaraman was made within 10 days after her arranged marriage i.e., in February, 2014, while the film offer came her way in September last year. So her decision has got nothing with the divorce and she doesn’t want to give the reasons for the divorce because she thinks that both the families would be hurt.
