The Boss of Bollywood in 2015

If we look at the Bollywood cinema side of 2015, audiences got a very wide variety of films as options. Taking a look at the year gone by, the film industry has some interesting facts to show.

Of the top 3 films with best box office performance in India, two belong to Salman Bhai, with Bajrangi Bhaijaan with national earning of 316 crores at the top and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with national earning of 189 crore following in at a close second. The third place goes to the Ranveer-Deepika and Priyanka starrer Bajirao Mastani which amazed the nation with an amazing saga coupled with excellent cinematography and has earned 130 crore and counting.

While Dilwale and Tanu Weds Manu Returns also made it to top 5, what is exciting is that Hindi dubbed Telugu film Bahubali pushed all barriers and quite deservedly sat at the sixth place with net national collections of 149 crore.
