‘Fidaa’ beautifully explored the backdrop of Telangana for the first time and made audiences fall for both the language and culture of the area. The credit entirely goes to Shekhar Kammula and his lead heroine Sai Pallavi. Then, the next movie that also has a fat share Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Arjun Reddy’.

The movie went on to achieve a cult status and the strong Vijay Deverakonda were perfectly portrayed using Telangana dialect, his mother tongue. There is a certain tilt towards Telangana dialect, art and culture in our main stream movies that is a true celebration.
