2024 promises to be a fruitful year for Tollywood after the box office ran dry in 2023 with not a single star hero apart from Prabhas having a release last year. There are a fair few biggies lined up for release this year and there is one thing common between them.
Devara, Pushpa 2, and Kalki are the three biggies that are confirmed to arrive this year, along with the Sankranthi biggie, Guntur Kaaram.
As for Devara, Pushpa 2 and Kalki, the common factor is the pristine technical values.
The recently released glimpse of Devara had refined CGI shots and visually appealing presentation. The action shots from the glimpse are trending and it is evident that Koratala Siva, who is an able storyteller is also focusing on the technical side of things this time with Devara. He has the extremely talented Anirudh Ravichander by his side. So as for as technical values go, Devara looks to be a winner.
Then comes Pushpa 2. The first-look poster of the film, which had Bunny ina mixed avatar was an instant attention grabber. Given the stakes involved with Pushpa 2, it is for certain that Sukumar and Allu Arjun do everything in their power to offer the best possible making values. They have enough time in hand to roll out a technically superior film in terms of visuals and soundtrack.
As for Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki, this film is certain to have exquisite making values. It has a futuristic setup which demands grade-A technical aspects. Same was seen in the glimpse video which had excellently composed CGI shots. Pair that with good soundtrack, and we are certain to get a grade-A technical product in the form of Kalki.
The budgets of these three films are not capped and all of them are going for pan Indian release so it is for certain that they maintain exquisited technical finesse.
