A 67-year old Keralite by name K.Chaatu failed a case against the manufacturers of Indulekha soap for falsely claiming that it will give fairness and beauty. Superstar Mammooty endorsed the product. He sued the company for Rs,50,000 but the consumer giant settled the issue with the common man outside the court paying him Rs.30,000.

This is an incident where a common man wins against a consumer giant and a superstar who endorsed a product falsely without checking into its credibility. Hope both the companies and superstars learn lessons from this common’s win.
