In Tollywood, announcing a release date is one thing, sticking to it is another. Naga Vamsi now finds himself in that familiar conversation again, this time around Aadarsha Kutumbam.
To be clear, the Venkatesh-Trivikram film is still officially scheduled for October 9. The makers have not announced any postponement. Yet, reports about possible alternative dates, including October 16 and October 30, have started circulating again.
The timing makes it interesting because Naga Vamsi had recently addressed exactly this kind of doubt. After the film was already moved from October 2 to October 9, he strongly maintained that there would be no further change. The trailer and bookings were also announced according to that schedule.
So for now, there is no confirmed postponement. But the fact that another round of release-date speculation has surfaced shows how quickly doubts return whenever a Naga Vamsi film gets close to its announced date.
This is where the producer’s release-date track record becomes part of the conversation. Several films associated with his banner have seen their schedules change for different reasons, making audiences naturally cautious about early release announcements.
Aadarsha Kutumbam, however, gets the chance to break that perception. If the film arrives on October 9 as officially announced, Naga Vamsi’s latest assurance will stand. If the date changes again, the discussion will inevitably become bigger than this one film.
For now, October 9 remains the date. The real test is whether it stays that way.
