The trailer of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life) was released yesterday officially after it got leaked online. The film also features Amala Paul as the female lead. The trailer is quite intense and is sure to give you goosebumps.
Aadujeevitham traces the life of Najeeb Muhammad, an Indian migrant worker, who gets abused and is forced to survive in the Saudi Arabia desert to herd goats. The trailer is filled with hard-hitting and intense scenes that leave everyone teary-eyed. Some Malayali celebs are already hyping that this film might fetch an Oscar award for Malayalam cinema.
The film has been in the making for a long time. Prithviraj had mentioned a few years ago that he was offered a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. But he had to let go of the offer as he had allotted his dates for Aadujeevitham.
It looks like Prithviraj made a sensible decision by rejecting Sye Raa for Aadujeevitham. Sye Raa couldn’t become a memorable project for even Chiranjeevi in any aspect, be it box office or critical acclaim.
Prithviraj also would have not benefitted much by doing Sye Raa. Going by trailer, Prithviraj definitely made the right choice by giving his dates to Aadujeevitham.
Aadujeevitham is directed by Blessy and has music composed by AR Rahman.
