Adipurush Day 2: Strong Performance Continues

Adipurush had a tremendous opening on day one, surprising both the trade and general audiences across territories. Once again, Prabhas’s star power as a pan-India actor has become a topic of discussion everywhere. There is no big drop despite the mixed talk and negative campaigns that are being run.

All the major markets – Telugu States, Hindi belt, Karnataka, and Overseas markets have held really well. Trade experts say early estimates are at about half of Day-1 Gross (140 Crore) which will be a sensational hold if it happens.

Despite the negativity and criticism, day two is showing a solid trend, and Sunday bookings also appear to be strong.

The film is surpassing expectations during its first weekend of release, with more than 50% of the expected revenue being generated by the end of Sunday itself.

Adipurush’s Hindi version is registering very good occupancy, not only in the northern markets but also in Hyderabad.

At the US box office, the movie is looking at around 2.5 Million Dollar in the first weekend.

Trade experts predict that the film’s two-day net collection will be around ₹140-150 crores. We will have to see how it sustains over the working days.
