Hanu-Man, an ambitious pan Indian project of Prashanth Varma and Teja Sajja was announced for release on the 12th of May. But the makers have now announced that the film stands postponed.
Well, the postponement of Hanu-Man is now being tipped to be a lucky escape for Adipurush.
With its first teaser, Hanu-Man built up good hype with the impressive grade VFX and visuals appeal. On the other hand, Adipurush’s teaser drew flak from all quarters for its poor quality.
Had Hanu-Man released on 12 May, and Adipurush released on 16 June, it could’ve been a problematic situation for the Prabhas starrer. People would’ve compared the visual appeal of Hanu-Man and Adipurush.
Hanu-Man is made just on a portion of the budget of Adipurush but it sure had more visual impact with its teaser than the latter. Had the two films released in close vicinity and had Adipurush failed to reach the mark, then it could’ve ended up as an embarrassment for the Prabhas starrer.
Moreover, both these films have similarities like mythological theme, VFX-heavy elements, and pan Indian release so there would’ve been obvious comparisons.
But now that Hanu-Man stands postponed, and likely to release only after Adipurush’s release, things have gotten that much smoother for the Prabhas starrer.
