Adipurush Poster Burnt, People Rioting

Adipurush had its theatrical debut last weekend. It opened on a strong note at the box office. But as expected, after seeing some of the visual presentations of a few of the characters, there is some controversy.

In a set of viral videos on social media, we see protestors rioting about Adipurush and creating public ruckus.

We see that they are burning a poster which is now said to be that of Adipurush. The caption for this video says that these protestors are rioting as they find fault with Adipurush and are expressing their dissent.

This controversial incident happened in Lucknow, it seems. If these videos are to go by, then it needs to be said that Adipurush is indeed off to a controversial start in the northern belt.

There were opinions that the presentation of some of the characters and the altering of historic facts from Ramayan might come back to haunt Adipurush. The same appears to be happening now, albeit in a not so concerning pedigree for now.
