After CBN’s Hitech city, now KCR’s Pharma City!

The Hitech City in Hyderabad stands tall reflecting the rapid change brought in by Chandra Babu Naidu in the urbanization and development of the city. Now KCR is planning a similar Pharma City in Hyderabad which will host a cluster of pharmaceutical companies. The government is planning to buildin about 8000 acres of land wherein new companies along with the old ones will also be shifted.

The government is planning required land, infrastructure facilities, communication facility, power supply, water supply free or at subsidized rates for the pharma city. Along with the industries, Pharma city will also host the residential colony, and a power plant with 500 MW capacity to provide uninterrupted power to the industries cluster present there. The government will very soon contact an international consultancy organisation with expertise in developing industrial estates to design the pharma city.
