After RRR now it is Akhanda. Recently, the RRR team, much to the surprise of fans, announced RRR’s first single on August 1. Now team Akhanda has followed suit. Buzz has it that Akhanda first lyrical song will be released in the first week of August. With this, the frenzy around Akhanda is more.

The makers are yet to announce it officially, but going by the brisk pace the Akhanda shoot is taking place, the team will kick start the promotions soon.

Akhanda shoot is currently taking place in Tamil Nadu. The team is shooting at a temple. The film carries good buzz as it brings back the combination of Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna for the third time. The duo had previously worked for blockbusters Simha and Legend, thus Nandamuri fans have pinned high hopes on the film.

Akhanda was supposed to release on May 28 but with the second wave at peak, the shoot came to a grinding halt. Amidst theaters vs OTT row, it is certain that Boyapati will not dampen Nandamuri fans spirits and will only release in theaters as it is an out-and-out mass entertainer.
