Akhanda 2 Confusion: Who Will Suffer Biggest Damage?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 has gone through multiple release date changes. It was first expected to come out during Dussehra, but the makers postponed it. Once Prabhas Raja Saab moved to Sankranthi, Akhanda 2 officially locked December 5 as the release date. Fans were confident and excited, but due to last minute issues, the movie did not release on the planned day. Even the following day, there was no clarity, and many fans who waited near theatres were left upset and confused.

The biggest question now is, when will Akhanda 2 release? Inside reports say the team is considering a Sankranthi release. However, that comes with risk because the festival season is already crowded with several big films. Karthi’s film Annagaru Vastaru was also postponed earlier because of Akhanda 2, and the same situation may happen again. A December 19 release for Akhanda 2 seems difficult because Avatar 3 is arriving worldwide on that day, which may limit screens overseas. December 25 is being considered a strong option, but that will directly clash with already scheduled films like Champion and Shambala.
