Akhanda Done, Waiting For The Right Time Now!

Balakrishna is done with Akhanda shoot. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is now in the post-production process. The film marks the longest for Balakrishna to have shot. Balakrishna has been on Akhanda sets for 111-days, which is the highest number of days for the senior actor.

The film was supposed to have been released in May, but the pandemic played a spoilsport. It was rumoured that the film will make it for Dasara festive season. However, the team yet again postponed the release.

Reportedly, team Akhanda is waiting for the ticket issue to get resolved in the neighboring state, Andhra Pradesh. Apart from the ticket pricing, the team is also hoping that the 50% occupancy rule will be revoked.

If things get resolved, then Akhanda is likely to get released on November 4 as a Diwali special. Bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, Akhanda marks the perfect commercial entertainer for movie buffs. The Boyapati-Balakrishna combo itself is a feast as the combo is considered to be a perfect out-and-out entertainer, thus hype around Akhanda is huge.

Balakrishna will next be moving on Gopichand Malineni’s film. Apart from this, the actor is all set to make his OTT debut on Aha Video with a Talk Show.
