Akhanda Rules Out Dussehra Option?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda shooting has been completed except for one and a half songs. The half complete song will be shot in Goa in the third week of September. The last song will be canned in the last week of September in Annapurna Seven acres studio.

The last song is said to be a mass number and will have Prem Rakshith master composing steps. The schedules indicate that the makers are not in a hurry to complete the film. Probably, that is an indication that the movie is not releasing for Dussehra.

The shoot will be completed by the first week of Dussehra. The makers can still release the movie for Dussehra but it is clearly seen they are shooting in peace which means Dussehra release is ruled out. There are rumors that the movie has been postponed to Sankranthi 2022.

If Akhanda also joins Sankranthi 2022, it will complicate the release dates of the already crowded festive season.
