Akhil chosen by Obama to serve Americans

Indian-American professor from Yale University, Akhil Amar was named as a member of the prestigious National Council on Humanities by the US President Barack Obama. Akhil Amar is the Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at the university since 2008.

This is not the first time Obama instilling confidence on an Indian-American. There are several of them in the key positions of American government. Amar was held various positions in Law schools and Colleges in America since 1985.

He had worked in several positions of various law organizations of the country like US Court of Appeals, Constitutional Accountability Center, Freedom Advisory Board of the National Constitution Center. While making the announcement, Obama expressed his confidence that Akhil Amar will serve the American people well.
