Allu Arjun went places that no other Telugu hero could in the past as he gained insane following in the Hindi masses. Remote Hindi pockets in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other north Indian states absolutely shared with Pushpa mania.
Even to this day, we see several reels and social media posts where these Hindi masses replicate Pushpa mannerisms.
However, it appears that Allu Arjun is evidently moving away from this mass pockets with his upcoming film Raaka. By the looks of it, this film is going to be an extremely futuristic visual experience with creature oriented presentation.
Generally, such subjects do not necessarily cater to the Hindi mass in the rural pockets of UP and Bihar. A few might argue that good film will always find its audience, but even this would be wishful thinking to imagine such content reach those mentioned areas.
Allu Arjun has completed a complete u turn after Pushpa, which was a proper raw and rustic commercial film as his Raaka appears to be the polar opposite futuristic film with heavy duty VFX.
This is perhaps good in a way, considering that majority of the audience these days are always looking for diversity. Had Allu Arjun gone for raw and rustic film again after Pushpa, it would have been monotonous and repetitive.
The most important factor here is that Allu Arjun’s judgement and involvement in the production aren’t to be taken lightly. He can certainly come up with winning films back to back as has been the case with most of his films in recent years.
