In a surprising turn of events, renowned actor Shreyas Talpade, aged 47, suffered a heart attack immediately after completing his shoot in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Following the incident, he was promptly taken to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, where he underwent angioplasty.
An anonymous source revealed that Talpade was in good spirits throughout the day, filming for the upcoming multi-starrer film, “Welcome to the Jungle” starring Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani.
The actor displayed no signs of distress and even participated in action sequences. However, after concluding the shoot, he returned home and informed his wife about feeling uneasy. Rushed to the hospital, he collapsed on the way.
Shreyas Talpade, with a career spanning two decades and over 45 films in Hindi and Marathi cinema, has garnered critical and commercial acclaim.
Shreyas also gained huge popularity after he lent his voice to Allu Arjun in Pushpa: The Rise. His impeccable dubbing talent was also one of the reasons why Allu Arjun’s performance connected well with the North Indian audience.
The update about his health is awaited.
