Amala Gets Caught In ‘Dogs’ Controversy

The brutal mauling of a 4 year old kid named Pradeep by a pack of street dogs in Hyderabad is the most talked about topic now. There’s a huge uproar on the same.

In this context, Amala Akkineni made a comment. “Please don’t take these one or two odd incidents as deciding ones and start seeing dogs as the enemies. If we love them, they’ll love as back 10 times more. Killing and hitting dogs isn’t the solution here” Amala, an active animal lover said.

However, Amala’s comment has drawn a hostile response on social media. Netizens are commenting that how can anyone comprehend the call to love dogs while they’re attacking the general population everyday. They’re pointing out the number of stray dogs attacks on commenters to contradict Amala’s comment.

“What wrong did the 4 year old Pradeep do to be killed by stray dogs? Maybe he didn’t have the time to love them” an anguished netizen commented in reply to a post regarding Amala’s comment.

But what needs to be understood here is that Amala’s intention is genuine and rational. But the timing of it, given that emotions are high following the death of the 4 year old, isn’t quite right. That’s why she is facing some heat on social media for the comment she made.
