Usually, when senior actresses of Amala’s stature step out to promote, there is a lot of Hungama. Their staff, makeup artists, and assistants flock the event venue. But that wasn’t even remotely the case with Amala.
Oke Oka Jeevitham’s media interaction was chaired by Amala recently. It was held at Annapurna Studios ballroom. Amala, being a veteran, and also the co-owner of the entire Studios could’ve operated at will, but that wasn’t to be.
Amala was reportedly so very calm and down to earth that she is even left the media personnel in awe. She turned up to the venue all by herself, carried her own make up kit, did her make up on her own. She didn’t even order anyone to bring her water bottles. She carried them on her own.
Also, Amala was very polite when answering the media questions. Even when there was a costume change for a new set of interviews, she had apparently readily obliged and did the needful. The way she carried herself with great patience and humility has impressed one and all now.
The media personnel was surprised to see a senior actress like Amala who comes from the influential Akkineni family being so very grounded. Her simplicity greatly impressed everyone.
As for Oke Oka Jeevitham, the Sharwanand starrer is gaining momentum with the promotions now. Usually, Amala picks only good scripts that have certain degree of novelty. This adds to the novelty factor of the film, as a whole. The film is up for release on 9th September.
